AgriFusion partnered with Scaloy to pioneer a tech-first, sustainable agriculture platform designed to address these challenges head-on. The mission was to empower farmers, agribusinesses, and supply chains by leveraging the power of precision agriculture through IoT sensors, AI analytics, and real-time data.

 

The primary objective was to build a smart agriculture ecosystem that enhances productivity, sustainability, and profitability for farmers in rural India and beyond. By integrating IoT-based soil monitoring, automated irrigation, AI-powered crop advisories, and a multilingual smart farming app, the platform provides actionable insights to optimize resource use, reduce crop loss, and improve decision-making from seed to harvest.

Our Strategic Approach

Challenge: Ineffective Crop Management & Lack of Real-Time Data

Traditional farming methods were hampered by inefficient strategies, a heavy reliance on manual labor, and an absence of real-time data and predictive analytics. This limited farmers' ability to make informed decisions, respond to climate variability, and optimize crop health, leading to lower productivity.

Solution: A Smart Farming App with IoT Sensor Integration.

We developed a cross-platform mobile app allowing farmers to remotely monitor soil moisture, pH, and weather conditions. We integrated this with cloud-connected IoT sensors that provide data on soil nutrients and trigger automated irrigation, creating a data-driven farming ecosystem that boosts efficiency and reduces water usage.

Challenge: Difficult Access to Advisory and Poor Supply Chain Visibility

Farmers in rural areas faced challenges in accessing timely, expert farm advisory services. Additionally, the agricultural supply chain lacked transparency and traceability, making it difficult to verify produce origins, ensure quality, and build trust with buyers, especially for exports.

Solution: AI-Powered Advisory and Blockchain for Traceability.

Our platform uses AI models to analyze data and provide farmers with predictive insights on crop diseases, pest outbreaks, and optimal harvest times. To enhance the supply chain, a pilot blockchain module was introduced to create a tamper-proof record of produce from farm to consumer, increasing traceability and buyer confidence.
